The DWU Alumni Assiciation Executive, lead by Interim President Mr. Asing Bogomos and his team have committed to revitalizing the image and work of the DWU Alumni Association into the future allowing for greater participation, both nationally and abroad.
As a growing community of professionals, the alumni network has fast become a recognized pool of nation builders whether as private sector emplyees, leaders within the public service or policy makers. And though many a times their efforts are largely un-coordinated and their efforts unnoticed, former students of the Divine Word University have made their mark on Papua New Guinea in varying industries and capacities throughout the years and have led the way in Service Excellance, Professional/Ethical Conduct and Innovation.
“As an Executive, it is our role to pull people and resources together. In order to harness the full potential of the DWU Alumni our priority must be on creating a coordinated and systematic means with which to communicate within our network, raise funds throught membership drives and to ensure a fair and legitimate election process for its Executive as heads of the Association as guided by our constitution” ~ Asing Bogomos.
Having said this, we have invested time and resources into developing an online platform which will serve the association and its members long into the future allowing them to benefits from the following:
- Pay their Annual Memberships Online
- Vote for Executives online from anywhere in the world (for Financial Members)
- Participate in Groups & Forums
- Grow and Extend their Network though an Internal Messaging/Communication system (Social Network) restricted to Alumni alone.
- Events Management & Fundraising Drives.
